R: I think of Santa Cruz people. People that smoke weed, whatever you know. (laughs)
KL: Yea smoke weed, think of peace all that. We took that uh, that independence. You know they separate themselves from the world and all that. Do what they wanna do. We took that and put the black in front of it. You know people think of hippies and all the colours. But we put black meaning we dumping everything in the pot. What we represent is love, hate, uhh fuckin’ freedom, self expression, everything is just dumped in there, death..whatever it be. That’s what the black represents. And the hippy is just us being our own individuals and being care-free from what the muthfuckin industry want us to do. That’s how we came together with that.
